Title: Skywell Technology Magic 3D II & Magic 3D II+
Post by NitroX infinity on 31.03.05 at 22:44:01
What's the difference between a Skywell Technology Magic 3D II and a Magic 3D II+?

In my list I have the plus listed as a 12MB card and the regular as an 8MB card but I'm pretty sure that's wrong ;D

That could be right because my Magic 3D has 4 MB and my Magic 3D Plus has 8 MB. The logical continuation is Magic 3D II with 8 MB and Magic 3D II+ with 12 MB.

I have two 12MB Magic 3D II cards, no plus or + on them. So I'm pretty sure it's not that. Unless the 8MB cards are the +/plus version :P

Maybe the "+" version has  (had) some extras (games, cables, ...) in the box.

???

Was is not the fact that the "+" version had 110 mhz Ram instead of regular 100? Anyway sooner or later Obi-Wan will reply here and explain, he has both versions if I remember correct.

very easy mate :)

The SKywell Technology Magic 3D II is the version with a single Voodoo2 8 or 12MB board.

The Skywell Technology Magic 3D II PLuS! is the Scan Line Interleaved version of the 8 or 12MB cards. ;)

May The Force Be With You :)
