the comdex 1999 5500 AGP...

Hi all does anybody know what happened to the comdex 1999 Voodoo5 5500 AGP Rev A0 board:
...

here the card we all know better the Rev.A1 0900:
...

as you can see it has no 4.7 Volt coils in the back area near the Molex Power connector, I have seen cards much like this one but instead of small SMD like transistors infront of the VSA-100 chips the cards we all know have small round cappacitors there instead.

Anyways If somebody has this unique card would be nice to see ultra High res pics of it, and some more info on what speeds it's cores and ram run and what PCB date it would have, would week 48 1999 be a possibillity?

cheers,

Ben Kenobi.

does anybody know if the card is still in exsistance? and why did 3dfx choose the 4.7 volt coils instead of the square like things used on the comdex 1999 card?

anyways as you can see the comdex card also looks more primative , it has the long rectangular black chip which is reworked on the Rev.A1 0900 moreley behind the left VSA-100 than just under it like on the Rev.A1 0900 Smiley
the chip with the green wire over it that chip is placed further back on the Comdex 1999 card. it placed vertically under a small cappacitor Smiley
here a better view of that comdex 1999 card Smiley
...

and here a pic of the original card it's self:
...

ir you look carefully at the photo with the gree background the Rev is A0 so this PCB is indeedly older than the Rev.A1 0900 we all know.

still dunno why 3dfx changed those 2 black square things in to the well known 4.7 Volt coils we all know so well.
