HI everybody.  :)

I'm new in this forum also with my new graphic card, I bought it 2 week ago..
I want to congratule all Falcon fly staff MOD( they does a very good work !! ( falcon fly, Patience, procerus ) and all another members.

I have a Voodoo 5 5500 PCI 64.0 MB
Drivers: amigamerlin 2.5 SE
OS: Windows XP Home edition
256mb ram
Directx 8.1

I installed perfect. it doesn't gave me any problem..  but I have some games and they are running a little SLOW.. not at all.. Example:
oh this game NFS4 doesn't supported my card.  >:( I needed to downloaded a patch!! and now my vooodoo 5 works.  maybe that its the problem.. i think..

Need for speed 4 : always when I play on level with a lot of Trees or houses or buildinds. Its slow.!   >:(  

its a graphic card with 64mb.! and NFS was made to support perfectly 3Dfx Chip set..   " IM so disappointed with my voodoo 5 "


why ???  it gave me that kind of problems?

I have some questions..

1. What is 3Dfx BIOS ?? I saw and it has some for voodoo 5  I've to download and install it?

2. What I need to do to unistall my Voodoo 5 5500 PCI (amigamerlin 2.5 SE... ?  I won't do it. only to know it.

3. It's normal that my games are running a little slow with my voodoo 5?
I thinks its my configuration on my "3Dfx tools" something its making my games a little slow.
I've my configuration on" 4 sample anti-aliasing " on Direct 3d and glide/openGL.. Maybe its that..

I dont know which is the best configuration to my:
*3Dfx advance features
*3DFx anti aliasing
where I can get that information? any web site?

4.last one:
My card come with something called " Y power " When I plug in on my mother board, I connected only 2 of the 3 sides of the " Y power " because One of those its not " LONG" I cant connect it..
that's Bad ? That will hurt my graphic card or something ?

Your games are slow because you have put 4 samples anti aliasing, it increases the quality but reduce the performance 8)

I will put sample 2 anti-aliasing...

and tested the game and now its faster, but decreased graphics..  :'( Its the only way.  but its ok.
