wow, great collection ;)

I saw there is a poster in one of pictures - it would be cool to scan it so we can enjoy it digitally.. (using some scanner that can handle that)

hq digital  images of those mouse pads also would be cool..

No more then an hour from my home too.

I considered bidding on it but have all the cards boxed already and very few of the non-hardware items of are any interest to me.

Plus you would have to deal with the fact that all the items were pretty much obtained via ebay in the first place (I know I have bid against him several times) and the seller makes no promises on working condition of the cards.

Me too.  I have had my fair amount of competition with the guy in the past.  Can't believe he's sold up!  It wasn't that long ago that I saw him bidding on 3dfx mousepads, developer notepads, even the 3dfx wine glasses!

A true point.  But with him being a 3dfx collector himself in the past, I can't see how he would have bought these cards if they weren't working.

He is going by what the people who sold him the cards stated and it clearly did not state he had tested them himself after purchasing.

I'm just pointing out when it comes to ebay buyer beware-

Everyone of those cards could be dead as a doornail and the buyer could have no legal recourse since the seller did not note they function or not.

Sad but true, but that's how ebay works.
