Useless comparison, given the ultra-high fillrate, geometric cumputing power and the whole rest stuff, to compare it with a 4 years old video card...

I'm wondering why all the people is running like mad for Aniso filtering? Do we have AGP texturing or other things available to keep up a Voodoo5 with today's geometrical and texturing memory overload?

This whole discussion remembers the one when 3dfx lacked 32 bit color depth, and because TNT has it, everyone was amased by it, even if it was running really slooooow....

Well, Aniso really is a nice step up in Image Quality, and I wouldn't want to miss it if available...

And as with many added features seen today to 3dfx Driver Cores, their sole purpose is not always to boost Framerate; some are simply proof that it can be done , regardless of performance.
