I think this has been in the pipeline for sometime.

Heck! I remember reading about it in one of the UK newspapers about 3 or 4 months ago!  Back then , it may have only been speculation though.

Oh dear!  Embarrassed

I've just watched the trailer, and to be honest, it looks like this film would probably end up being a 90 minute game FMV.  Sad

As soon as I saw The Rock, I didn't have high hopes.

From what can be seen in the trailer, looks nothing more than a Resident Evil copycat.

On the plus side, it does have that fit bird in from 007 - Die Another Day!  Kiss

yeah I was thinking in the Direction of Aliens V.S. Preditior , which used to be a very good ole 3Dfx Voodoo games based on the Unreal Engine Wink I suppose you guys remembered that also  Tongue

Aliens vs predator 1 & 2 used the Lith Tech engine not the Unreal engine  Wink

it did sure look like the Unreal engine though hehe, anyway playing with the Marine was scaries though haha. Doom The Movie is still a nice idea, but it won't be as scary as the game it's self. aka Doom3 Ressurection of Evil.

The genre of such films now are so cliche.  I will probably go see it because it's DOOM.  Something we've all wanted to see happen in a movie, but I can't say I'm gonna like it though!  Wink

Aliens Vs. Predator 1 & 2

Alien - Mr. Shiny Teeth

Predator - Mr. Invisible

Marine - Mr. Game Over
