The board checks the resistor configuration on boot up and overrides any bios revisions. My card works but reports 32MB, some day I have to send the board to Hank so he can add the correct resistor and activate the second bank of ram.

The 5500 might be a different issue since you are swapping ram sizes, the 4800 has another bank location that needs to be activated.

So far the two known 4800 both show 32MB on boot and in testing, I have no idea if any cards were ever activated for the full 64MB. Perhaps they were working on a driver issue that the extra 32MB complicated so left it disabled till the problem was fixed. I'll try and ask.. but answers can be difficult to come by at times.
