I just wanted to give you guys fair warning..

I got a bad AAlchemy from quick_elist on eBay


He says he'll make it right but we will have to wait and see :-/

I received an email from the seller stating to return the item for a refund. I shipped it back to him. We also spoke on the phone so I feel pretty good about returning it. I called him for the return address, he told me to put a packing slip on the box with the auction number. I return it USPS Priority Mail w/Tracking. Other than the phone call, all communications we're through eBay ;)

Today I received my refund :)

I rolled the dice again with this guy. Hoping to get another since he refunded...

I should have written down the serial number :-/

The bad one was a 8232SB, the one I am replacing it with is a 8232DB w/nVsensor. I would like to own one of each flavor. 8-)

Here I am 872 miles from home and my AAlchemy AA5 arrives at the house. The good news is, it made it home safely. The bad news is the wife wants to know why I have this uncontrollable urge to buy them :-/

I told her that if I had to explain it to her, she just would not understand :P

I'm am in Santa Fe, NM and won't return to San Diego, CA until Friday night. I hope she cools off before then :-*

I was sweating this one as I had just gotten a bad card from the same seller (I did get a free FULL refund from the guy).

This wasn't a 8232DB it is a 8432DB w/SPP :o 8-) :o

quick_elist seller is selling more Aalchemy on ebay right now. And I remember he sold 3 of them about 7-8 month ago. Did anybody bought them? Were they working units?
