Hello there!

You are right. Rebel Moon Rising used MMX instructions instead of hardware acceleration for rendering and there's no patch.
By the way, the guy who uploaded that video is a complete asshole. See his other videos: he claims that games like Half-Life 2 or FEAR were running on a pair of 8 mb Voodoo2 under Windows XP using modified drivers. Write a comment explaining why that's not possible, and he won't publish it because he enabled comment approval. Ask him for that magical driver and he may reply that he will email it to you, but obviously you will never receive anything. He even has a video of Quake 3 actually running like shit on those 8 mb Voodoo2, and the dumb guy says it's due to Carmack's engine being badly programmed (!). |

hehe.. i have the seam opinion about this guy.
i spoke with him more than once, and asked him to send me his moded drivers. he claim that he develop a "smart" voodoo driver... no way..it"s a asshole :) |
