well isn't that gonna be 10 years after December 14 or 15?

Oh well, I do have a few great 3dfx idea's:

let's Play Unreal ver 2.26 in Co-Op :) or Return To Na Pali the mission pack, otherwise Operation Na Pali ver 1.30 for Unreal Tournament, a very nice single player mod for Unreal Tournament Game Of The Year Edition 1999 :)

On the toughest mode hehe Hardstyle 3dfx Clashin!!!

I'm up for that ;) Only I can't play Return To Na Pali. I can't fine my UNREAL Gold CD. Now I'm limited to the other 2 options. Unless someone knows where I can download the mission pack ;)

How about glquake?

The game that launched "Voodoo!"

yeah but that isn't in Glide, Unreal is and Unreal has more beauty in it, more spacious and yeah the Unreal feeling does me alot more than GL Quake.
Funny it launched Voodoo it's not even in Glide as where 3dfx really made it's dabute.

Hey Gamma then I'd say we do Operation Na Pali it's free mod and it's packed with lot's of fun, action, humor & 3dfx Glide Glory. :)

I'm pretty sure the opengl32.dll for glquake makes calls to glide, I could be wrong though.

Neither here nor there as it was the game that really launched Voodoo Graphics and 3dfx.

Otherwise I would like to race you guys in StarWars Episode I: Racer ;) Neva Kee is my Pod What will be yours Ben Quadinaros?

also a nice idea and maybe the best one would be playing Descent II in Glide ;D

BTW I have tested that Quake GL under Win2K Pro but that's a no go, anyways got XP Pro for that one can start it up as a Windows 98SE application hehe.
Well Quake GL is a no go here for now:

Well problem solved thanx to Omega_Supreme he advised me to put the MesaFX 6.2.0.2 in the quake game directory and the game is rolling! with FSAA x4 LOD Bias @ -8 at fill details on a MAC 5500 PCI w00t , the X2 4400+ can come in handy now :)

here's GLQuake 1.14 :)
http://files.volved.com/qsr/q1114.exe

here a very handy tool aka QuakeOn 1.10 :)
http://files.volved.com/qsr/qon_110.zip

and here the source code :)
http://files.volved.com/qsr/quakeon_src.zip

with QuakeOn you can enable mouse view and things like transparent water effects you name it :)( time to give Quake1 a new life :)

and wanna renew the whole quake game use the renewed texture pack :P
http://files.volved.com/qsr/textures-406files-7-16-04.zip

and if you want to play Quake 1 in a doom3 look on your exsisting GeForce or Radeon or Volari then I'd so go Tenbrae!

The first two games I played on my new Diamond Monster 4MB card were GLQuake and Descent 2 (w/voodoo patch) Then along came NFSIISE and I had to invest in a steering wheel and pedals 8). Anyone ever played PoD by UBISOFT? Lots of LAN partys with those games. Ahh... The good old days 8)

nope, STARWARS EpisodeI RACER did me more, just the game it's self looked much better, the gameplay, the speed and how the Podracers reacted on speed, accelleration, traction and with afterburners, quite amazing for it's time. ;)

Runs exellent on the VoodooMAC 5500 PCI @ 1024 x 768 x16 MAXX settings with FSAA x4 & LOD Bias -8 on the X2 4400+ :) It get's about 48 fps there, the minimal fps was around the 33 fps so it ran very fluid 8)
