@ Hank you mean PCI-X Wink heeh doesn't mean PCI express hehe  PCI -X means something else [and no i'm not confused with PCI-e either hehe]

But yeah a 64Bit PCI-X slot @ 66Mhz would be perfect, dunno about the 100Mhz & 133Mhz ones though.

there is a nice Quad Opteron board from Tyan with those beefy slots LOL Grin Quad Dual Core Opteron 880 & Voodoo5 6000 wiieeeee

Oh man come on That's gotta be HELS PELS REBELS euhm Hels. Shocked Shocked Shocked  Grin

problem? where?

i only said that i do not see many advantages in the PCIexpress -> AGP adaptor you've posted before.

But lets stick back to the topic: AGP-> PCI adaptor

Just use Win2K Pro + SP4 and gone the problem is, it's just that 2K is faster and way more stable and reliable than that treacherous XP Pro Lips Sealed

Remmber that 3dfx never made driver for XP so it will always remain and seen as a problem.

Never like XP anyways, it looks wrong and it's so slow to work with lot's of crap running in the background morely a senseless OS, it's that after Win2K Pro things went backwards @ MS.

Sorry that I wacked abit out but my experience with XP is just bad and I've heard that from many other 3dfx people, anyways maybe there might be a sollution for this but for me Win98SE & 2KPro will be the best OSes for 3dfx. XP is better for new stuff.
