Actually you are right, at least with the V2.5, however, all previous versions were explicitly compiled with WinXP in mind.
But, even although most of those Drivers run okay under Win2k, they are built around the special Problems and Requirements of WinXP, which are usually not necessary with Win2k...
Therefor, they often use compatibility settings and methods, which might not give optimum Performance under Win2000.
That's the reason I did not include all of them in the Win2000 Driver list as well.
The AmigaMerlin 2.5, however, indeed is meant for both Operating Systems, and it says exactly so in the ReadMe file.
For that reason, I will soon include this one in the Win2000 Driver lists as well
