Title: Question for you 3dfx gamers... Post by hurtz on 23.04.05 at 20:12:04
Greetings :D
Is it possible to combine this configuration: Nvidia Geforce 6600GT for modern games (HL2, Doom3, etc), combine with Voodoo2 SLI to play oldies games that require Glide by using pass-through cable ? thanks ;) |

I wouldn't do that, really.
The best solution is to set up an older PC (Pentium I or II) with the Voodoo card(s) you want (just like I did: one PIII with Voodoo4, one PII with Voodoo1 and one with VoodooRush, plus the "strong" one with something else... not 3dfx). ;) |

Yes, it is possible. You really shouldn't have any problems.
Here are some resources to substantiate it! ;) Consult these first before you commit to doing anything. http://www.falconfly-central.de/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.pl?board=techtalk;action=display;num=1109706976 http://www.falconfly-central.de/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.pl?board=techtalk;action=display;num=1095522142 |
