Since there are some avid Descent fans among the regulars, I thought I would post some information concerning upcoming Descent LAN parties:

MidiV has posted information in the English and Russian sections of the Russian Descent Outpost concerning the Spring LAN Party which will take place on 1 May 2005 in Kiev, Ukraine.  A Russia vs. Ukraine match will be featured, but additional participants from other locations will be welcome.  If you wish to participate, email descent.at.unirep.ru.  Additional details will be posted at the Russian Descent Outpost as they become available:

Do Checkor has indicated that a very few seats are available at the upcoming Munich LAN IV.  This event is scheduled for 24-27 March 2005.  Here is the (German) link:

North American Descenters are discussing the possibility of a Descent 3 section at PDXLAN 5 which is scheduled for 11-14 August 2005 in Portland, Oregon, U.S.A.  Here is the Descent Bulletin Board thread link:
