I always wanted one of those
.
I really love dumb restrictions/laws,just can't have enough of them.as ex-commie country,we still have sh!tload of those over here..import/export restrictions, insane customs fees, you name it-if you dare to import something from US/asia they are going to suck your wallet dry (or worse-damaging the goods in the process of examination is a common practice.it gets even worse-they can send the goods back,or destroy them-everything on
your cost,I'd like to add).
if you are smart enough you can always find your way through the gray zones-as long as I spread the payments/hw packages enough I can usually slip under the radar undetected..if not,I can still play dumb/tell fairy tales about the package, the customs office guys are usually not too knowledgable about vintage 3dfx hardware (or just about anything, which is good-an egocentric imbecile is quite easy to manipulate,if you know how),I have done this too many times to remember (basically, all big q3d hw packages from ebay and some extras as well).had to bribe an officier once as well-nothing enjoyable I must say, something like that
can get you in some serious trouble (no,not jail, but it would still be enough to wish one was born somewhere else).but it went well-they still have commie blood in their veins, and all commie bureaucrats love bribes..but the nvsensor is out of the question, thats clearer than sky.
anyway, the nvsensor sure looks sweet-is only for the filtering/dvi output or does it run as a primary card as well?
