You might add in win98se. Compared to XP and Vista. So, yes - Voodoo4 in 2D in Win 98 Se is better than Nvidia GTX in 2D in Windows Vista. But them, what kind of comparasion is that ?

You might also say : Voodoo1 is faster than Geforce GTX285.
And it's true : Voodoo1 in Quake2 in 640x480x16 bit is faster than Geforce GTX285 in Crysis in 2560x1560x32 bit.

No disrespect for Voodoo cards, they were great, but let's not compare a retro Mercedes with a Veyron.

But it wou'ld be great to compare if they test the Voodoo4 under, at least, XP...

Yes, at least that. But even so. Does it really matter ? Come on - 2D, I think that Voodoo Banshee might be faster in 2D. Even a very old ATI Rage Pro or Matrox G200 is enough for 2D, anything that has 16 MB should be more than enough (even in high resolutions, like 1920x1200).

But you are right, it's nice and funny at the same time to see Voodoo cards in the same graphic tests with HD5870 :)

And even wining (if you know how to test them :P)

Poor 2d performance on modern cards, confirms my suspicion's on the poor quality of modern graphics cards. Poor IQ frame tearing ect.
