Altough for me it's like a drug, I can't help buying cards, I am now almost 30 years old and I feel that in the future I won't have time for this hobby, but I hope I won't be forced to sell my collection.
To be really really honest with you, I think most of us at one point have thought, "what if" somebody would give an offer I couldn't refuse or, "what if" I would ever sell my cards, how much would they go for.
I think it's normal really. Then on the other hand, I've had a real change of heart about 3 years a go, when I had one of my first cards ever collected, an X-24, I almost sold that one because I decided it would be almost an impossible job to collect all these videocards I own now. Turns out, it wasn't too hard, but mostly had a lot of good luck.
To make matters interesting again, I've had an email from a person high up in nVidia that has got 3 packing cases full of cards he reviewed when he was still an editor for a well known website, he wanted to chuck them, but was waiting for a 'museum' type thing that he could give them all to. Over the next two weeks he will sort out his cellar and give me a list. Very exciting. He had been reviewing cards since the Riva TNT uptil the X800/6800s. Phew, I wonder what will come up!!!
