Title: Disabling the TV-out function
Post by Bill on 06.10.05 at 13:02:50
I've recently installed a DVD drive on my computer.  It won't play certain DVDs because it says the TV-out function is not disabled.  How do I disable it?

I have a Gateway P3 450, running XP, 3dfx Voodoo3.

Thanks,

Bill

You would have to remove the video card and install one with no TV out.

Or get better DVD software.

Power DVD5 or 6 would be advisable, Power DVD has been nominated as one of the Best DVD software players.

So I take it that PowerDVD XP 4.0 that came with the DVD drive isn't cutting it?

Thanks.  I did download a 30-day free trial version version 6.
