I could have sworn this works with no problems, I look at this tonight when I get home unless someone else already gives you an answer but I could have sworn it was working fine. What drivers are you using? Just asking because I have almost the same setup with my voodoo box, just a little slower cpu. Like I said, I'll look tonight on there and give you driver version and stuff if it works fine.

Sorry guys, I didn't get a chance to look at it, my two year old wasn't feeling well so I had to help take care of her. Once I get some time I'll through this in and take a look. I know for a fact I did have this running at one point and time with V5 and 2K, because I remember I was impressed with how they rebuilt the graphic engine from DF 2 to DF 3 Land Warrior. At the time though, DX8 had just come out if I remember right, so I don't know.

well, it novalogic says this game can run on a voodoo3, but i cant get the in game pop up windows to show anything at all, plus no regular gun site, ive even tried a voodoo3 and a 4 and a 5, same issues on them all, im sure its a windows 2000 problem but thats all i got, im using my on board savage chip to play it and it works fine, really this is just a bunch of poop :'(

I installed it on my 2k box, and getting the same problem. Not sure what the deal is though, I did run this before on Win  2K but it was before SP4 and before the Beta 10 drivers I'm using now. I know I ran this before on 2K because I remember I had updated to 2K while my two best friends where still using 98 at the time. Not sure what changed though. I'll do a fresh load with 2k and the reference drivers and then add service packs, and driver updates as I go later this week and find out what the issue is, if anyone is still interested.

Ok, this weekend reloaded my Voodoo machine and it didn't work at all, same problem- No text and no cross hair (does make it a little difficult to play). This is the machine and what I did.
AMD 2000+, 512 DDR 2100, Shuttle AK31.2 Mobo with last BIOS update from site, VIA 266 chipset on it, Windows 2000 fresh load, V5 5500 AGP, left the on board sound enabled- had issues with the SB live series with this board and didnt' want to mess with that at the moment.

Ok, this is how I loaded Windows trying to get it to work with no luck.
Windows 2K
SP1
Via 4-1 3.8
DX 8 (Didn't try it with DX 7 because the last official drivers I have from 3dfx are DX 8 drivers so that's why I loaded them).
Last official 2K drivers from 3DFX (left everything default except for changing to 2x AA and turning of V-Sync)
DFLW Unpatched.

Ran DFLW and same problem. No cross hairs and no text inside any of the boxes.

Ran update patch for game- no luck.
Updated to SP2- no luck
Updated drivers to Omega's 103B drivers (had pretty good luck with them for a little while)- no change

From this point on, I didn't think it would work, but went through the rest of the process's any way just because I had to get Windows patched and updated so here are those results.
Updated VIA to 4.1- same problem
Updated to SP 3 - same problem
Updated Voodoo Drivers to 3DFX Underground 1.09 Beta 2- same problem
Updated to SP 4- same thing
Updated IE and ran the rest of the Windows updates on it. - no luck
Updated to current VIA 4-1 drivers
Updated Voodoo Drivers to 3DFX Underground 1.09 Beta 7- same thing (did run a little smoother, but still no text or cross hairs).
Updated to VD 3DFX Underground beta 10- no luck

And after it being 4 am when i got done with this, this is where the machine is sitting at right now. Just read the post above with the drivers he's using, so I'll try those later this week, but doudt if it'll work, at least on this machine. Sorry guys. On a good note, the game runs smooth as hell- minus the text and cross hair issues- so if we can get this fixed, I'd almost start playing this one again (just got DFBHD Team Sabre and damn- it looks good and game play is hard- good combo so far).

This is messed up, went out to Novalogic's site to find specs for the game and it says that's it compatiable with V3, V4, and V5 cards, the only thing I didn't see was anything refering to OS, so I'm not sure why it's not working right.

All Delta Force series works for me without problem, even Delta Force Black Hawk Down /without 3D Analyze - I said I should need it, but for me it works fine without it, and much faster than with GeForce 256, 2 TI and 4 MX 440 cards - as I tested them on my systems - Athlon XP 1800+ /and Athlon Thunderbird 1333 - somehow it's faster for some games!/. One my friend have problems to play some levels /especially convoy operations/ with GF4, but with V5 5500 it works much faster, without glitches.
I tested Delta Force 3,4,5 with x3Dfx 1.07 drivers, Voodoolizer 1.05 /best on my system - speed and compatibility/ and some other - like AmigaMerlin /don't work very good, also with many other games/ and 3DHQ drivers - same as AmigaMerlin - most of the games crashed and slower speed than Voodoolizer. I heard something about Voodolizer 1.05.01 drv, but I was unable to find any in the Internet.
