I don't know, actually. The more I think about it, the more I think that it just always has booted with that BIOS -- that's the one that it came with when I got it from eBay back when. Aquoess over on x3dfx sent me some test BIOS files that are all super low version numbers like that. But there's nothing in the notes that say anything about a V5 6k. They all just reference Napalm or V4 reference boards. I'm pretty confident I returned it to the BIOS it came with, but I don't know why it would have come with that, unless it was just some test version of a V5 BIOS that 3dfx hacked together to make sure that it functioned. I really don't know, but would love to.

No offense, but what else should do an old collectible video card ? Especially a proto card like that
Do you think that the one that will buy it will use it to play games on it ?
None taken, of course... but you're definitely right. I guess I expect that someone else will appreciate it more than I do... I'd certainly appreciate the money, haha. I've still got a few 3dfx odds & ends floating around (A pair of V2's, V5 PCI & AGP, 3dfx business cards, a thing that looks like it would've been stuck in a plant)... I guess it's just time for someone else to own them.
