both of them have original bios for mac or flash to pc bios for use?

I also own a V5500MAC - flashed for PC use! ;D

I modded the original heatsinks with better quality fans...but kept the black base parts for that 'V5500' look and feel... 8)

My cards have original MAC biosses, I rather keep them original, they are just the way they are  8)

I'm really wondering how many Voodoo4 4500 PCI For Macintosh boxed were made, looks like Gary is the only collector I know that has it, ya know the Brown USA VoodooMAC 4500 boxed card ;)

yes, the brown edition seems to be very rare one.

would it be possible to make a background from the brown edition as well or is it way too small?

I think finding one will be difficult also, though, the Voodoo mac series is one of my favourite series, cause it's those extra DVI ports that make them look alot different from the others :P

well, bigger pic would make things easier, but seems brown version generally is the same green version, so i might take green one as base.

I have seen the brown box on ebay last time around,
but I never thought i would collect to this point with 45 cards in hand,

and never figure that the brown box will be that hard to find.

its around somewhere,
I just know it,
but no one is selling it,

hehe yeps it's out there allright, I'm still scouting for ya, still no results, well it's bigger brother the 5500 PCI for Mac USA has been seen morely from time to time, but even that one is abit on the rare side, the 5500 PCI for Mac USA is alot rarer that it's european counterpart aka the VoodooMAC 5500, the  MAC 5500 Euro has been seen @ ebay alot more than the 5500 PCI for Mac USA, afaik.

I'm a bit confused here, according to OutOf Range's album this is an MP750

I tend to believe Gary the most since he is quite possibly the biggest expert (no offence to the other guys), but I just want to be sure. So Green PCB = 750 and blue PCB = 850?

not really correct, the green and blue pcb is different between revisions not between models ;)

if you go on the villagetronic website all MPx60 boards are blue...

i will have a MP850 here in a few days so i can show where's the difference ;)

@ OutOfRange, congrats with your  Village Tronic collection!!!! now you have all of those, do you think that there are also Prototypes of those types, Personally I haven't seen aprototype fo the  Village Tronic series, but who knows 8)
