Hm, I do wonder if people are still willing to risk alot of money, considering the amont of Problems others unfortunately apparently had with him...

At least the Card received a Name now, that's a small improvement after all.

The ebay buyer protection is a joke.

I can't speak from personal expirience, but i do have a friend who's a power seller, and the buyer protection program saved his batty quite a few times on lot sales

I'm not sure if I should try to get the card. The seller seems to be a bit strange.

I decided not to trust the seller. Not after Hutzeputz experience. Yeah, I would really like to have that Daytona, but the risk seems too high...

Yes, but you are a lucky one. You have still your Daytona 32MB ;)

Hutzeputz is a member of a german 3dfx board, www.voodooalert.de
He won that auction right after yours.
He paid with paypal and got a receipt, the seller accepted the payment.
Hutzeputz was told the card is shipped with UPS ( or USPS, dont know exactly ) but he didnt get a tracking number.
After 3 weeks the card still wasnt here in germany, so he mailed several times and finally he filed a complaint on paypal. The result : The seller filed a complaint himself against Hutzeputz.
The last thing I read was that paypal agreed to transfer the money back in case the card is not delivered...
What I learned from this :
The seller is not worth trusting and can stick the cards somewhere where the sun wont shine...

Should find someone trustworthy who lives close to this guy and can pick up the cards and then send them to the buyer.

After reading some of the responses to the negitive feedback, I'm kind of thinking that "dirtbag" might be a little nice. Haven't bought anything from this guy, but wouldn't either.

totally off subject here, notice that I've got 37 post under my belt and after being on this board for almost 3 years now and still a noob, I can't tell if it's sad or happy that I still have somewhat of a life.  ;D

I just got mine in today and thank god it came it working order! :o Poor packaging though, bottom right of the card were it has that small little heatsink was almost bent right off. Lucky for me it wasn’t serious and I just bent it back in place. :o
