Hell I am so pissed off with this person who I bought my VoodooMac 4500 PCI from
A german.
I paid US$275.00 in total to get this,
and see how he treated my card!!!

F**KING A**HOLE with no common sense!!
I told him particularly to treat the item properly and have proper protection for it.
He did exactly the opposite!

stupid ass, this guy has close to 40 feedbacks and he doesn't know how to ship an item in a box.
I'm from a third world country and at least I know that is totally absurd.

sorry I meant I bought this card from a german guy,
he did agree to ship to me and he was on his way to the US anyway.
shipped it via UPS.

yes he did, I was chatting with Edmundoab til 03:23 AM , I just could believe what I saw, when I found it for him it was in very good condition, I just can't believe why would anyone handle someones mail like this, it's such a big fraud.

Man I thought that I found something good and then it arrives like this in his hands, I feel his pain. I wish I could relieve him, because he deserves it and  this is something that just goes to far.

What you could do is Claim your money back, because the package came to you in a way which isn't loyal, Or is this not possible?

I'm really sorry. I once get a new sealed V5 5500 PCI from UK and it was shipped only with some paper around it. :(
But it's a shame. A boxed V4 4500 MAC is really a rare item.

yes I faced that before, shipped with paper, and when it arrived to me, it was torn on the box. took me about more then a month to get a replacement from him

well, that was ironically also from the UK,
i guess saving cost on weight, but they should always never compromise the safety of the item

I glad you could fix it up that much Edmund. Im really sorry to hear this. That box was perfect when I first saw it on ebay germany. You paid way to much for a pink box in this shape  :(

well you did it very well I gotta say, it was worth the job by fixxing it but then again it's still a wreck, and that still hurts me Edmund.

At least it looks better like this without tha dreadfull tapeing, I still can't believe why someone would do such a thing anyway.

I hope I will find you a replacement but let there be hope,  I will continue scouting.

He just wrapped the box in some transparent plastified paper?!  :o What's he got in his brain? water? whisky? I remember when I bought my Voodoo4 PCI on eBay, the guy put the card in a box from another 3d card (which was great, since the box wasn't included in the bid), and then put the box in a BIG tough-like brown paper... all came perfectly... I think if the box would have been in such a paper, you wouldn't now think about cutting your veins...

Stupid eBayers... buying's easy but selling -they must know- is much harder...

fact is, it wasn't even wrapped at all.
the box was sent as it is.

The tape surrounding it is shipping tape., just to seal the sides , and he tapped it on the box itself..
so that means I can't really remove them otherwise I'll tear the whole top printed layer off the box.

I mean, you paid so much and he "forgot" to make a decent shipping...  :o

You know, the bad thing about leaving negitive feedback is, it sort of reflects badly on you. I've wanted to leave it on one occation. but after sleeping on it I thought it wasn't worth ruining my 100% given and received. considering the price of the item is $275 and I had to run through the hassle of removing the tape for hours..

I haven't left a neg yet. But I am giving it until after new year for any sort of reply just to be fair.
I always give the person 1 month before deciding a negative.. just to make sure that he or she is totally in the wrong for not replying me or trying to solve this issue

I guess if it were me and considering ($$) the situation, I would also be inclined to give negative feedback.

But I would first try to make contact and explain how important the box was to me and the dollar value you placed on the box before shipping and you bid accordingly.

At that point you'll need to be prepared to return the box for the dollar amount, or consider the current value of the box due to the damage during shipping and ask for the difference to be refunded.

Personally, I don't think the guy is going to want the the box back but you need to be prepared. If he feels vindictive, he may ask for the box back.

You could ask for a full refund but it's likely your going to get burned unless he transfers the money first, then you return the item.

If he has already given you feedback, your free to NEG him. If not, and you neg him, he'll most likely neg you back and your both done.

If you go for the negative feedback, choose your words well, you want to leave him in a position with no defense. This way no matter what his response is, he looks like a moron that shouldn't be allowed on ebay.

I can only speak for myself, but when I see negitave feedback I read the replies and I go to both side buyer/seller to try to figure out who the moron is.

You can usually tell. Sometimes you need to look at all the negs that the other guy got/left to figure out if your buyer/seller is going to be a problem.

You know what- If someone purchased a 5 year old video card from me for $275 you can bet your damn ass it would be packed very nice and with the greatest of care.

Shipping it as he did was just damn thoughtless and lacking in any respect.
