Hey guys! I've finally done it: My Copper Voodoo 4 Engineering Sample is up for Auction: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=300606502676

I mention in the auction scans of both the V4 and the blank V3. Those can be found here:
http://jrrver.homeserver.com/jrr/images/x3dfx/v4e/
http://jrrver.homeserver.com/jrr/images/x3dfx/v3blank/
(let me know if those URLs don't work. They should, but my web server seems to be acting up lately...

It's a little sad since I've had them for so long, but they're not doing much more than collecting dust. If these go for the listed price or better, I'll be getting a little out of debt and saving up for a new computer. Smiley

Ironic, I was just about to post the link to that. Just a question, why does it boot with a Voodoo 5 6000 Bios??  Huh

No offense, but what else should do an old collectible video card ? Especially a proto card like that  Huh Do you think that the one that will buy it will use it to play games on it ?

I don't know, actually. The more I think about it, the more I think that it just always has booted with that BIOS -- that's the one that it came with when I got it from eBay back when. Aquoess over on x3dfx sent me some test BIOS files that are all super low version numbers like that. But there's nothing in the notes that say anything about a V5 6k. They all just reference Napalm or V4 reference boards. I'm pretty confident I returned it to the BIOS it came with, but I don't know why it would have come with that, unless it was just some test version of a V5 BIOS that 3dfx hacked together to make sure that it functioned. I really don't know, but would love to. Smiley

None taken, of course... but you're definitely right. I guess I expect that someone else will appreciate it more than I do... I'd certainly appreciate the money, haha. I've still got a few 3dfx odds & ends floating around (A pair of V2's, V5 PCI & AGP, 3dfx business cards, a thing that looks like it would've been stuck in a plant)... I guess it's just time for someone else to own them.
