Compaq Diamond V1 4MB
29.05.08 at 13:51:09

I have a card i my collection that bears the Compaq mark on the all so familiar Diamond sticker. Can this card be considered a new model? I need your input because as i was talking with NitroX Infinty about this subject we were wondering if the V1 list needs updating or not.
Here's a picture of the card.

Rev.2
I thought the revisions of the Diamond Voodoo Graphics were displayed with letters A-E (or something like that).
Does anyone else have a Diamond V1 with Rev. <number>? Mine are all letters.

I also have retail versions of V1 Diamonds and all of them have a letter for a revision and i've seen G or I the latest ones. Still if Compaq was reselling Diamond V1 cards then there should be quite a bit of them out there and maybe people just ignore theese little details like the rev or the sticker.  Roll Eyes
My question still stands is this a new card manufacturer to be added to the list or can we just consider it a different Diamond V1 rev?

I wouldn't put it to the manufacturers list. If we do so, we would have to add Dell, Gateway etc also..

Eeeeh right, it's late Cheesy
I just saw that Dell and Gateway are in the Voodoo 3 list Grin
Okay then - I think we should add Compaq to the Voodoo 1 manufacturers list Wink

It's not a manufacturers list. It are lists of different cards.
