Hmm, whisky?    Lost the taste for that quite a few years ago!

I over indulged on that during college, where one night it got to a drinking competition with one of my old ice hockey team mates.  He's about 6'6" (4" taller than me) so it takes him longer to get sozzled!  He always wins drink competitions! 

I ended up spending over £60.00 in a JD drinking competition with him in one night, when Jack Daniel doubles were £1.00 a shot!  I was completely wasted! 

Therefore, whenever I smell or taste the stuff now, it brings back those awful memories of that night!



Just stick to good old beer, and the occasional swig of Absynth (sometimes spelt Absinthe, if your p*ss*d).

It's perfectly legal in this country.  Last time I drunk it in a pub it was anyway.  

One of my student pubs sells no more than 4 shots to every customer.  You get a scorecard at the bar, and it gets ticked off everytime you purchase one shot.

But there are numerous ways of getting around it if you have lots of friends out with you!  

It's only the 'watered down' 70% vol. version.
