3dfx Archive - VoodooTV FM WinXP Drivers?

janskjaer Ex Member	VoodooTV FM WinXP Drivers? 22.01.04 at 22:40:13 Is there such a thing? ??? Do we have support to run the VoodooTV cards under WindowsXP? I know that we have VisualReality for WinXP ( I just ran it for the Voodoo3 3500 TV card I also have). Is there any Windows XP drivers for the VoodooTV?

As mentioned in the thread I linked you to, under XP, try to stay away from Visual Reality. It is very unstable; tends to crash, lock up the pc, randomly restart the pc too. I've lost many a kazaa downloads due to VR Angry

Reread that thread, it should have everything you need. It works fine, I still have my VoodooTV and runs all night while I sleep...

I will try those links out!

First of all, I tried Visual Reality with my Voodoo3 3500TV AGP card and it worked fine!

However, I removed the card and put in my GeForce2 Pro back in and then tried adding the VoodooTV.
I installed the drivers and a new copy of Visual Reality, but it kept freezing the machine, which someone mentions in that forum link you supplied. This is true, if you try ro run the VoodooTV via Visual Reality with a non 3dfx 2D/3D card. How strange! Undecided

So I will not test the VoodooTV again at a later date with the DScaler software, and if I have time, try running Visual Reality for the VoodooTV while another 3dfx card is present and see if it works in that scenario, to see if the theory is correct.

Is that a typo? Are you gonna test out Dscaler or not? lol
