Title: Site downtime? Post by janskjaer on 09.03.04 at 19:25:59
Does this site go down at certain times now?
When at work, I'm usually able to access this forum, just like when I go home, but for the past two days, in the afternoons at work (from ~ 11:00am GMT to ~14:00pm GMT) I have been unable to access the site. The message I have had is that the site is under construction? Is this true FalconFly? ??? |

I have, just now, posted my response to FalconFly.
Shall I remove this topic, as it is unneccessary to the forum. |

i wanted to open the site yesterday @ 16.00 pm, but it seemed to be down. i shut down my pc. in the afternoon i started the machine again and got serious problems: winxp would not start, so i had to repair it with winxp setup recovery tool.
question: the yabb forum is based on activex, isn't it? if yes, could it be possible to bypass the norton firewall by activex commands? 'cause that's just my supposition concerning this failure, as antivir couldn't find any worm o.s.l.t. |

Well, the Forum runs off Perl.
I didn't notice any real downtime, but I did notice quite low performance when doing a small Update yesterday around 2255Z time. I think some background maintenance must have been done that day, it's my best guess. |
