Does the Voodoo 5 support widescreen monitors? Or maybe it's the 3rd-party drivers? if so, which drivers do?

i'm asking because i have 2 widescreen monitors here i don't use often, 1x 20" 1600x900 and 1x 19" (don't remember the resolution, but probably slightly less than the 20")

when using the vga connector, there should be no problems (however, to get the proper widescreen resolution in games, the inf might need to be modified), but the dvi (if you have a card that has it) has a limitation - it can't do more than 1600x1200 (that means if you want anything wider than 1600, you are out of luck).

i recently tried with my V5500 and no, i can't put them on Widescreen, even on a 16:9 monitor which have a maximum of 1600x900 of resolution (it's a 20inch monitor i think).

Is there a way to enable Widescreen resolution in Win98SE on the V5500?

Remember to remove all spaces before and after the resolution data.
