Booted it up...

I had to find a key for the removable H.D.D. as one wasn't included. No problem, I have a set from the old Mercury days from my wrong color (white) drive set.

When I fired it up and got the POST screen I was pleasently surprised to see a custom Quantum3D BIOS POST screen. Nice touch

Then it booted in with no problem SB live sound with windows login. Windows 2000. The memory is only 2 sticks of registered 128. I was going to swap it out but the 2 sticks have a Q3D sticker with their Part Number on it so I think I'll leave it alone.

I believe this machine is 100% stock and very clean. I don't think the seller blew it out with an air compressor because you can usually see residual dirt/dust from that process in other areas.

Everything is labeled from the 2D VGA and the 3D VGA in the back to the power and reset buttons in the front.

I have given you plenty of Hi-Res pics although my camera isn't so great.

So is it functional?

Not yet. I've been pretty busy this weekend. But I have tomorrow off (something about Columbus Day). I plan to give that a try...

I sure was relieved when I went into Display Properties and clicked on the Q3D tab and clicked test...

I have to admit, I saw a small black window and my heart stopped beating, then I remembered I need to move the monitor cable to the AAlchemy Tongue

I was jumping for joy when I saw the pink triangle spinning around Wink
