I have a Monster 3d coupled with an ati all-in-wonder (radeon 9500 ?), with directx9 and windows98.
I installed the original drivers but 3dfx dont work , what can I do to fix this ?

Yes I did , I think it comes from directix 9 , I installed the latested 3dfx drivers that I found.
Is a very old Monster, one of the first ones.
I don't understand.......

I also use Dx9... Uhm... Have you tried to use another pci slot? Which dirvers do you use?

Since it's a known, problematic combination, this Thread may help you.

In short, Voodoo1 and Voodoo2 sometimes exhibit this Problem when coupled to a Radeon 9x00 series Card. Solutions so far seem to work fine, however, so it's solvable :)

..little hint: voodoo1+anything that is newer than p3 or K6=paaaaaaaain.radeons really dont have anything to do with the hardware compatibility (as far as Im aware),the desktop corruptions are easily solvable by using the correct version of glide drivers (check the link from Falconfly).

use voodoo2 if you really must have hardware glide support,those run much better in newer pcs..

Hi , thank you for your answers, I was away and could'nt read the forum.
Actually tat's exaclty what I have done, I just bought a voodoo 2 card on Ebay , I also have another one womewhere, will try to put them with a Sli cable.
