I totally disagree with us all not being friends when it comes to 'eBay Wars', as it is put.

After all, I have known members bid on items, for other 3dfx members who like to keep a low profile, and pretend that they are not interested in such an item! 

That's called team work, and that involves members helping other members out.  The problem is, is that what if another 3dfx member wanted to win that item? 
You would be helping one member out, and opposing another at the same time!

Perhaps you should try it with whole cars instead of parts 

There are certain Dodge cars I deal with that it's almost impossible to sell the car for 1.5k-2.0k even though it's nice car but can get upwards of 4k parted out
