Legal Stuff

Okidok....

Since some of the visitors might wonder :

The so called "Impressum" is required by a german law for online Media (the "Telekommunikationsdienstgesetz" , don't you love German words ? *g*).

Basically, it is complete bollox for private, non-commercial Websites like this one, but smart Lawyers have started making money from Webmasters who do not have this stuff on their Site.

Since the price for simply not having it online varies from about 250 Euro to 1000 Euro easily (theoretical, legally possible limit : 50000 Euro Shocked ), it thought putting it in was about time (after all, more than 200000 visitors make the 3dfx Archive somewhat respectable in size, and 50 Grand is a hefty price for lacking some 500 Bytes of legal stuff in a 2.25 GigaByte capable Archive Tongue ).

Just ignore it, or read it if you like.
Feel free to send me a Postcard, free Hardware, or a 20lbs C4 Bomb now in case you don't like the Site (the full postal Address is mandatory part of above mentioned law) Roll Eyes

You already see, this law is really loved by German Webmasters ...

The Disclaimer is as well part of the German law, although this (for a change) does make some sense since it contains at least an English part...
(although all of it should be common sense, however, common sense apparently has become a rare gift in many respects of today's world Roll Eyes )

Anyway, I also took the time to reformat the remaining pages doing that, so there's a positive side to it after all  Grin
