From gary's page (section Rampage):

Quote:
How many Rampage boards were there? By my estimates and statements made by former engineers the number rests at twenty total. Of those, ten are A0 revision and the other ten are A1 revision. What is know is the A1 boards were pretty solid and engineers were busy hammering away getting the boards running correct right up to the day they were laid off.

Did they ever do live testing with these cards?

If so, how did they perform.

I'm guessing that a total of 20 were made per revision since you have the Rev.A0 models from week 46 year 2000 and the Rev.A1 models from week 47 year 2000.

A batch consists of 10 cards so in total there would of been 20 cards :)

about 4 are known to me, dunno what happened to the other 16.
If possible I would like to know what 3dfx changed between Rev.A0 4600 and Rev.A1 4700 cards, because since that the one with the Clampshell is a Rev.A1 4700 also like Gary's Rev.A1 4700 with fan, the Rev.A0 boards don't have that as a difference, anybody that may know this would be cool to have as extra knollege.

To be very honest, personally I never have seen a Rev.A0 4600 board.

aha thanx Gary never knew that they were Rev. A0's :)

What was the change for the Rev.A1 compared to the Rev.A0 boards? WHat I can see that it does not have any Ram chips in the backside, dunno 'bout the top side though, I really hope you get one of these Rev.A0's Gary would be intersting to see them up close :)
