I have a 3dfx card with a number on it of
6001217 and i can not find any information as to the card or its usage. Can some one point me in the right direction???

Do you have a picture of the card? Does the card have more numbers?

If you can't make a picture try Google first and search for a Voodoo Graphics, Voodoo Rush, Voodoo 2, Voodoo 3, Voodoo 4 or 5. Maybe a similar card will be shown, it'll get you in the right direction.

This page might be interesting, too.

This Google search shows the name Gateway Voodoo3 3000 often. In that case it would be a Voodoo3.

so should be this card but without TV

well i found another number
4001050401 rev a thats the part number and a revision # is 40900504
I tried your page and it was in the right area but no 400 number cards +
