Title: AGP2PCI
Post by m14radu on 12.10.07 at 08:09:36
This small MB has an AGP 2 PCI adapter on it.

Take a look here:
link

The voodoo's are also noted here as suported cards !

That board uses a RISC PowerPC MPC5200B processor which is not an x86 processor. Thus new drivers would have to be written.

Edit:
Oops, I responded too fast, I see now that the AGP2PCI pcb is a seperate pcb. My bad ;D

if the adapter would work, then is easyer to write new driver than searching for the old AKIBA AGP2PCI Adapter....witch is very hard to find..and expensive...

it myght be an alternative solution....

the last about 250 EUR AFAIK....

Even if it cost 250 euros, it's still a very rare object !
I also search for one  ;)

hmm. seems so expensive  ???
i got hold of a company that has agp/pro to agp and that adapter was only $29.00
they are willing to sell 1 piece at a time which is nice.

Aren't those just extender cards?

Which model are you refering to?

go under product veiw, they have adapters and extenders, when i looked up the agp/pro to agp adapter they had it, ive never looked up any others, just threw the link up there in case it could help someone somehow :-/
this is what i was looking at, i havent found a mobo worth buying it yet tho.

PRO2AGPX is a short AGP-PRO TO AGP adapter. It allows the AGP board to be tested in a AGP-PRO slot. The adapter avoids misalignment of the gold fingers between the two standards. The extender connector on top, features a AGP connector. User need to specify 1.5VDD or 3.3VDD connector on the AGP side. The default is 3.3VDD. The gold finger features universal AGP-PRO cut. The dimension is 5.076" L x 1.1" H.

Oh I see...

So you are looking to take a 1.5v  8 x AGP motherboard and put a VSA 100 3.3v based Video card on it. Right?
