Motion Compensation
01.02.04 at 22:03:07

I also found a strange behavor of the windows media player 9 (with directx 9.0b) in conjunction with my Voodooł driver (1.07). When i run more than one video from a playlist, either from a playlist file or a temporary runtimegenerated playlist like selecting different videofiles with explorer and rightclick/play with windows media player or playing from a device where mediaplayer shows all supported mediafiles as a playlist, then every second video has no motion compensation. Especially in fullscreenmode with low resolution videos from digital cameras is the effect very annoying because of the big block-effects. If i doubleclick or load the videos one by one the motion compensation works normal except for the small delay what i think is normal because the smoothing takes gpu-time. When i remember right i also had this effect with the 1.07b drivers wich i used for some time last year but i'm not shure. Maybe this is a M$ bug and has nothing to do with the Voodooł drivers.

Regards,
Andreas
