I need help figuring out which card i have. I pulled it out of my buddy's HP Pavillion. here's a short description:
pci 4 chips ------looks like it could hold 6 chips silver heat shield 26 pins on top of card monitor port only ------opposite side of card that plugs into board 10 black "fins" next to the pins I need to find the driver for this card. I am using it as a secondary monitor in a studio setup.Any help is appreciated.I did not find it on the spanish guy's site. |

Hmm, sounds like you are describing a Voodoo 3... :P
Although your description is a bit vague? ::) Are the 'four chips' RAM? ??? Are they arranged around a 'central large chip' (V3 core)? ??? Can anyone else verify my theory? ??? C'mon people! :o |

Hm, without a more detailled sketch or description of the Card, impossible to help.
Judging from a quick look-up of HP's Pavillion series, I did not find any clues that would suggest they ever used a 3dfx Card in those Systems. Any imprints or numbers visible on the Chips or the Card itself would be helpful (e.g. its FCC ID Number) |

lol, beats me? ???
That 4 four-chip thingy sounds like the Voodoo 5 6k 2x2 design, but there were like only 2-3 made, plus they're fake; highly doubt he has a 6k and doesn't know it... EDIT: ignore what I said...I just read his top post...PCI... |
