I noticed someone has them in the collections thread and I was wandering why is it a 3dfx realted item.
Was it packet along some voodoos? |

Yep, Metabyte released their own line of 3dfx Cards, equipped with Drivers, Software and Hardware inferface for their 3D Glasses.
Since they apparently weren't very cheap, only few were sold, which makes them quite rare items. |

I've also heard that the 3D Glasses wern't that great also, they only could do 60 herz hehe, rather pain staking for the eyes :P

I recently got some other h3d eyewear for 5eur just to check how this stuff works (I was read somewhere that it goes up to 75hz)

hmm 75 herz is still somewhat crappy, 85 herz and above is oke but not lower. my eyes still get lazy and sore with 75 herz. :-/

These glasses only work @ 32 bit color. When they first came out I had some and recommended them to a friend who couldn't use them on his voodoo3 ???
I think Gary owns a pair and my have more detailed information on them. Maybe I'm thinking of Eye Scream by Metabyte. Please correct me if I'm wrong :-[ |
