If you read the rules on engagement normally it's prohibited for a transparent deal that has all the benefits of support and feedback. But there is also the option to make a private deal if so desired as stated in this note:
"Not adhering to minimum public transparency (i.e. giving or accepting offers via PM/EMail) will preclude any marketplace feedback count and no support will be available in case of Problems - as the transaction is then considered entirely private."

If anyone needs to check my feedback see here:

@Max_R I think we've talked about this card before. I really would like to make a trade and I can be very generous if you can help me with one of the cards I seek here:
http://www.falconfly.de/cgi-bin/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1292277264/0#0

@goriath as mentioned I prefer trades and if you think you have a tempting offer for me please let me know.

As indication of price for such an item you can see here:

Thank you for your interest,

Well perhaps we can help each-other out as I see you have some 3dx caps available for sale. I'd be interested in one each how value them in a trade for this card?

@m14radu pm back

@goriah it's too bad you haven't got something that interestets me available for trade I can be very generous if you would.

hmm.. sounds interesting. but first-forgot to ask, is the pass-through cable included? I think this v1 uses a nonstandard version..

Well sadly this card doesn't come with the loop cable. But it will work with a Miro V1, V2 or Canopus V2 cable if you have one. As I mentioned the card has been tested and works without issues. Pictures if you like I can provide once I end my day at the office.

Maybe I'm going to do an unpopular statement but I don't think money is the key for all things. Don't get me wrong or polemical, just my thoughts.

Let's back to the 100SB instead; could you kindly tell me a bit about the story of the card?

ah, too bad about the cable. I think I do have one somewhere.. a picture or two would be nice, if it's not too much of a bother.

I have no idea how much should I offer for the card - normal v1s are dirt cheap nowadays, but this one is a custom design with more memory (if I remember correctly, it should be able to do 800*600 thanks to that extra memory), but the missing cable is a bit of a letdown.. so let me just start with 10e - you probably know for how much you would like to sell the card, pretty sure we will meet somewhere half the way.

I get what you're saying and I agree but I was referring to being generous in a trade. I'm going though all my collectibles and might have a few more appealing items available in future and if you let me know what you seek here or privately perhaps we can work something out.

The story is simple I bought the card as defective from another collector and he bought it from another before that. Don't know when the card decided not to work anymore but in it's current state it is detected as PnP device, the Obsidian 100SB drivers for Win9x install without issues but whenever a glide app like Donut or Unreal is called on the image freezes or display goes black and stays that way.

@ps47 I add pictures in the first post.
Yes this card is not a regular V1. It comes equipped with 6Mb memory and TV-out functionality as can be seen.
Thanks for the offer. I said before I would be interested to make a trade since I'm tempted by the caps you have available so how about I pay you 10euro plus the card mentioned above for 1 cap of each kind (3 in total)?

Ok, thanks. Since you have this item for trade, I will let it go at the moment. I don't need that card really, but would have been interesting to try get it to work. Sorry but I don't think I could make you an offer good as you want, since the price that you probably would ask for the card would be too close to the price of a working one. If you won't trade or sell the defective 100SB, I will consider to make you an offer in the future for a reasonable price.

Ok no hurry from my side. I do prefer a trade for the item.
Regarding the functionality issue I would've like to figure out what's wrong with it and fix it but nothings missing and the few scratches it has are minor not traces affected. Maybe it can be fixed with the right knowledge and skills you never know.

I agree with the trade (just to confirm, I'm going to pay the postage for the caps, and you are going to pay the postage for the card, right?).

Great thanks. I agree also that we each pay for shipping the package like you said. The details we can conclude privately.

Thank you for the offer. It's not a bad one but I would prefer to trade it for something I'm searching for, mentioned in the first post. If you have something from that list I'm sure we can work something out.

Cheers,
