I think it would be a great if we had an area where we could go for a fast answer or just to chat.

[Easiest and quickest way]

Click the following link, enter a Nickname, and hit Go!

- http://mibbit.com/?server=irc.efnet.net&channel=%233dfxVoodoo

If you do not have an IRC client and the above URL did not work for you, follow these steps.
1.) Go to http://mibbit.com/chat/
2.) In the IRC: field select EFNET [webirc]
3.) Enter a Nick: (probably what you use here so we know who you are)
4.) In the Channel field enter #3dfxVoodoo
5.) Click Go and Enjoy!

OR if you are familiar with IRC the details that you would need are:
• Server = irc.efnet.net
• any port other than the default
• Channel = #3dfxVoodoo

What program did you use? The info Rotten provided is all that you need.... other than your own username. Tongue

I tried out a free open-source program called Pidgin (multi-IM + IRC) and it works great! For Windows, MAC and Linux/UNIX.

I got in no problem. first box = EFNET [webirc] <---- look in the drop down list second box = your_nick third box = #3dfxVoodoo click GO button

If there was more then say 15 active members, it would be a great idea. Now though? Who knows. It is good to have options though.
