I've had it for a while....not even sure if it runs.  If it does, is it worth anything to anyone?  Or should I just get rid of it?

Looked it over, didn't see any "brand" name on it.  Only other thing I found printed on it was on the front: S3 375/775

Any idea where to find a "brand" on it?

Not at the moment...but possibly in a day or two maybe...  I'd have to borrow my step-mom's camera as I don't own a digital camera.  But yeah I could probably post some.

Just for full disclosure, I should say that this card has been stored outside in a tool shed for the better part of nearly 2 years, subject to freezing winter temps, summer heat and humidity, but protected from other elements, ie: rain snow, wind, etc.

I do plan on checking it out way in advance of making a decision to part with it, that way if it fails to run, no one is gonna get screwed over.

Just for the record, in case anyone is considering this card at all.

It's trash. I used to own one, there were many different versions of the card and it didn't support 3D (DirectX or OpenGL) properly.

thanks for letting me know.  I never even got around to checking it out.  The pc I had at the time was a compact workstation type pc and the card would not fit in it due to it's size.  I'm on a larger pc now but now that I know that the card is crap, what is the point?

You can use it to run the S3D API games. See my list of known supported games here:

Normally a S3 Virge GX2 will be the recommended card, but for Terminal Velocity a DX is required. Also a DX will be good enough for games like Havoc, Whiplash, Actua Soccer, POD.
