Measuring FPS in Glide games?

Is there a way to monitor FPS in Glide supported games?
Fraps does not seem to work...

If there aren't any built-in frame counter then as far as I know you're out of luck.

Yeah, you have to use the games' engine built in function if it has it in order to do so. In unreal you have to type "Timedemo 1" in order to do so and start a new match. Or for example, 4x4 Evolution can display fps too by typing the word GOLDFINGER during a race, and then FRAME. Same goes for Monster Truck Madness 2, though you don't have to type the former one.
