Title: HP Power supplies Post by jandarsun8 on 13.11.05 at 21:50:57
Unlike Dell, HP use standard ATX power supplies don't they? Wondering because I'm taking the board out of it and putting it into full size tower case (long story).

As long as it has a standard ATX connector you should be fine.
If you take a paper clip and straighten it out and make it into a loop then use it to short the Green wire to any Black wire this will turn on the PS. Now you can take a volt/ohmn meter and check the voltage readings between the 2 PS to verify that they are the same. Beats the heck out of smoking your motherboard. |
