Yes I wanted to open it up out of curiosity to confirm my suspicions about the content. And I'm glad I did because it looks like I was wrong and the label fooled me by the mention of AT25. Inside as you can see bellow is a Hercules AT3D 6Mb Dual Planar with a CD that is dated 1999. So I guess Hercules still had a lot of these cards in stock and decided to sell them off cheaply in a time when V3s were entering the market.

A heatsink on my main V6K definitely would not hurt, but they run really cool as is so I am not too worried about it. I only use the very compatible Epox 8K3A+, so that also makes me feel safe. Cool

Thanks they are nice but for collection purposes only as I can't say I plan to test or use them in any way in the future.
A V6k is more appealing for testing/using/collecting for most people.
Regarding the Hint bridge cooling the small heat-sink found on Matrox G400 Max type cards should fit nicely and as you said it won't hurt
