Title: Help identify a possible 3DFX card
Post by ultima on 31.10.09 at 08:23:08
Hey guys,

I came across the following card and for some reason I get the idea that it might be 3DFX.

Can anyone shed some light on it?? Maybe Canopus?? Seeing as it has not just the standard voodoo vga connectors??

Thanks for any info

never mind, I found on Gary's page that it is a

VillageTronic MacMagic 8 meg Voodoo Graphics with unique Mac video connector and bios chips- Will NOT work on a PC platform.

Is this anything special?? I suppose there are a lot of these out there??

Well, you don't see them every day, they rarely pop up on ebay so it's definitely a nice find. Diamond, Guillemot, Orchid, Innovision or Colormaster are (here in Germany) notably easier to find.

it's funny how it actually has "bottom" printed on the PCB on the backside of the card, near the connectors.

Anyone interested in it?? I can't use it cause it is a MAC card, and I don't have one of those. :)
