My 5000 AGP4X card on ebay...

Hey. Sorry about pulling the plug on the auction last time. I had advertised the card as being a working card then found lots of problems with it after several bids had already been made. There was an issue with vertical lines on the screen in some resolutions but we fixed a couple of damaged memory pins and a bad solder pad and the stripes went away. Now everything seems to work fine except D3D. My sister probably never noticed with her little 14" monitor and dos games. Anyway, it's working now and up on ebay at last. I do not have any more of these - this is it! Good luck and Thanks!!!

Woah!

A BIG thanks to all that bid! I appreciate it a lot - and my sister does too! It was won by a guy in Switzerland! I've met a lot of new 3dfx people through my last few auctions and it's funny because there are times that you want to cheer for certain ones to win it! Wink

I'm going to continue searching for more cards - I still have a couple of leads that aren't tapped out yet. I will definitely let you guys know if I find anything. Woo Hoo!!!

Suitcase of cash...yeah....um...well...it's kinda my sister's. I'll make a long story short.

I got the PCI and AGP cards together years ago then I gave the AGP card to my brother in law. He later put it in my sisters computer (probably because 3d didn't work right). They later divorced. I had suspected for a while that it might be in her system so shortly after I sold my PCI version for such an unusually high price on ebay Grin

I called her, she rebooted her system and read me the bios string - and you pretty much know the rest. I booked Hawaii. 8) I believe she's doing something similar with her kids. And...um...Thanks again!
