Hi!

I have a problem here! I once installed Amigamerlin 2.5 drivers and everything worked well, now i tried to install the newest version but the tools don't install corectelly, there is an error message that says: Conflicting inf and ini files:[0xd] FAILURE: The data is invalid. Then : "Warning ! Driver installation Aborted!"
and it continues installing and I ignore a couple of errors... The drivers seems to work well but no tools. So I tried to install the previous drivers, and it started to do the same thing! Please help, I want my Voodoo3 2000 to work properly again!! Thanks!

I tried to repair the tools but it always do the same error messages, I also deleted the registery folder as mentionned but its seems like windows's 3dfx drivers always take Amigamerlin's drivers place...

that problem never happenned before

Have you tried installing the stand-alone 3Dfx Tools package?

Grrr. AmigaMerlin will not install correctly on XP. I tried installing it and I get the same errors. Please go through and tell me how to get it working.

Voodoo 3/2000
AMD 1200+ (900Mhz)
Windows XP Prof. (w/ SP1)

Just interesting thing about your configuration:
AMD 1200+ (900Mhz)
remind's me to
Amiga 1200 (just think about 900Mhz Amiga ;D )

Matt, did you follow the exact Procedure in the Readme File ?

The Driver itself should install without a problem, but the 3dfx Tools are known to require a workaround

(install, Ignore Error Messages, don't reboot when prompted, reinstall Tools and choose Install Option "Repair", then allow to reboot)
