I'm sure glad I unloaded my DOA card before all this started. Or possibly I am the cause of starting this Roll Eyes

@ Gamma742

maybe us togeather Gamma, You sold your 6K I sold my collection hehe I get the idea we started that trigger or it's just the season that people just want to sell things just to tidyup and so on, which is to understand. but yeah close call with your auction though Wink

@ Habbs

That is a Rev.A2 2600 look carefully at the photo Wink it has the classical VoodooVolts connector Wink you can see the metal cap on that connector in the shim of the camera shot look:
...

it's also rather short for a Rev.A 3700 Wink and also states:

Revision two this voodoo 5 6000 is 2600 A2, not a 3700A revision

I bought this card and it was one of a few Voodoo 3's I wanted for quite some time. Now I just need the other version of this card to complete my set.  Grin

I'd like to thank everyone on these forums for the massive exposure and countless enquiries I had during my auction. I ended up getting AU $104.07 (EUR 66.3763) for this rare 3dfx card!!! Anyway, here is the final result, check it out...

*lol*

Voodoo Volts Netzteil ist nicht dabei, aber man kann diese Karten sehr einfach an das PC Netzteil anschließen. Das sollte allerdings mindestens 350W haben.

Translated :
A VoodooVolts Power Supply is not included, but it's easily possible to hook the card up with the Computer's PSU.

Now, does anyone see a PCI/Power rework on that card that would allow this ? I certainly don't...

Actually, it is possible very well on the A2:

thought I do admit you will need some soldering skills to pull it off

.......

Sorry FalconFly, I misread your post, you meant this specific card.
It indeed lacks an internal connector.

this is your opinion, and as Obi-wan found out yesterday, if you're going to publically slander, degrade or force your own opinions amongst other users here, you will get cut down for it and rightly so. Instead of simply saying "it isn't rare", how about backing yourself with some cold hard facts!!! Go on, prove me wrong...the fact is, you can't!

Can't say that this phrase in V5-5K PCI description adds me enthusiasm:

"The functionality of the card can be limited. After the turning on of the computer (the card) functions and show you BIOS 1.00 A."

This thread isn't for trashing someones auction and if that happens I'll step in.

On the subject of rareness *since you are pushing the issue* the 4500 boards are not rare at all and on any given week you can find them on Ebay for as little as $5-$10 a pop.
