well,I have a tortoise (I'm not really into things that are too cute).its a practical pet-kind of reflects my views on life,universe,and everything (no,I don't call her 42).no hair,no barking,no drooling,no scratching or biting,sturdy,not too big,does not need much food or space..and its much more than meets the eye-while most people believe such creatures are slow,stupid,weak and even ugly,its actually the opposite-she is incredibly strong for its size (able to bulldoze through things much,much heavier than her own weight),fast and agile (for a small turtle,that is-see the pic,she does stuff like that all the time ;D),and while I must agree its not the most beautiful creature on this world,its nowhere near ugly either (and her eyes are beatiful-black,deep and sparky).and the best thing of all-a tortoise lives for a very,very long time-she's probably older than most members of this forum,I don't know the exact number (I have been her owner "only" for the last twenty years),but she should be around..well,42 ::)

My late Grandfather :'( had a tortoise for 63 years,he got it as a boy aged 15,it lived through 2 world wars :o,after he died aged 78, it was passed on to my Uncle Alan,it lived til the ripe old age of 92,old Freddie was a lovely wee creature,as are most animals on this earth,except for Pugs,ugly looking things ::)

How could I forget Smokie

This is either the silliest or bravest kitten in the world,he keeps attacking Tango, one of my other cats,Tango is a bit of a bruiser,your typical alley cat,always comes home with battle scars,he's not scared of anything :o,I've seen him chasing dogs away,this little guy is the latest addition to my ever growing cat family :)

(my old Cam sucks quite a bit, so colors are a bit off and constrast isn't the best)

(seems only by pure luck I have never sent a Cat instead of 3dfx stuff or other hardware ;) )

Im not posting any pictures of people dear to me ;) But yes, she does have one eye green (the "evil" one) and one blue (the "good" one, as I always made fun of it). Of course they are not catlike, but they are of different color. 8-)
